Coronavirus Prevention for Photography

Keeping you safe during a Branded Lifestyle Portrait session

There are a number of things we can do to limit Covid-19 (coronavirus) exposure during a photo session and in our business arrangement. Let’s take a look at the key issues:

Vaccination

All employees and contractors of Joe Tresh Photography are required to have been fully vaccinated for Covid-19. For indoor sessions, all subjects and attendees of any shoot must also provide proof of vaccination after booking a session.

Distance

The best portrait lenses require the photographer to keep a distance from the subject, which helps keep the background out of focus. The photographer and subject will remain at least 6 feet from each other.

Protection

The photographer will wear a masks as recommended by the CDC to help prevent the spread of the virus. You may go mask-less at your discretion. You may also want some good photos of you with a mask for your branding needs.

Ventilation

Indoor sessions: Only vaccinated clients are eligible for indoor sessions, with proof of vaccination required prior to the session.

Outdoor sessions: While shooting outdoors always poses lighting challenges, it can also be the most rewarding. The natural ventilation, sunlight, distance, and masking will keep you and the photographer safe. Unvaccinated subjects will only be eligible for outdoor sessions.

Screening and information

We will pre-screen all appointments and offer rescheduling to anyone with health concerns. We keep records of everyone we work with, in case contact tracing should be necessary.

Retainer and scheduling easement

We have a very relaxed retainer policy during the pandemic, which allows either the photographer or the client to reschedule without penalty because of health concerns. We are in this together.

Virtual transactions and delivery

Electronic hands-off scheduling, payment, agreement, and delivery transactions are preferred.
